Home Made Natural, Effective Sunscreen

We love the Sun! It is the source of all life on earth. It provides vital energy and is essential to support healthy bones through helping our body make Vitamin D.  Getting adequate sunlight also supports healthy sleep patterns, has been proven in clinical studies to boost serentonin levels, therefore supporting a positive overall balanced and happy mood.

The sun has gotten stronger and the suncreens available on the market reflect this. Unfortunately, most of the sunscreens out there are filled with harmful chemicals which could be considered toxins and have long lasting harmful effects. You can read more about that here from Environmental Working Group.

According to the World Health Organization, getting anywhere from 5 to 15 minutes of sunlight on your arms, hands, and face two to three times a week is recommended to enjoy the vitamin D-boosting benefits of the sun. It is recommended if you’re going to be outside for more than a  15-20 minute period to protect your skin. We recommend wearing a hat, and reapplying sunscreen as needed and after being in water. We recommend investing in your health by making your own sunscreen. It's super fun! Check out this video we made showing how easy it is and for our recipe.

This full spectrum medicine,  Re-establishes the energetic flow of the multilayered, multi-dimensional human body. This ancient and dynamic medicine treats the physical, mental, emotional, and energetic layers. It powerfully supports the body to find its way back to its natural balanced state. It aids in breaking through dysfunction, and then re-aligns the natural flow of the body’s rhythms. By circulating blood, lymph, and energy the sessions course energy back towards its original source and flow. By treating physical pain, emotional imbalances, and shifting energy, an inner peace is found which radiates out into ones life.
cupuncture is an effective form of health care that has evolved into a complete and holistic medical system. I use fine, sterile needles at specific acupuncture points on the body. This activates Qi (energy) and promotes natural healing by enhancing re-cooperative power, immunity, physical and emotional health. It can also improve overall function and a general sense well-being. It is a safe, painless and effective way to treat a variety of medical problems.
